The design demonstrated on this CD is a bird with both of its wings exposed, typical for this species.   The sculpting of feathers with soft transitions is shown well along with the tools used.  This bird has a very distinctive color scheme and varies from soft, monotone whites to rich orange colors in the back.  Fine, soft paint application is demonstrated employing a number of methods of blending.  A pattern for this project is included on the CD.
