This new book is a compilation of the work of Pat Godin spanning 50 years.  Pat describes in detail not only the creation of his waterfowl carvings, but also the inspiration behind the concepts shown in his work.  Having studied at the University of Guelph to attain a B.Sc. degree in Fisheries and wildlife Biology and a M.Sc. degree in Waterfowl Ecology, Pat talks about the science of the bird and how that influences his thought process when creating his marvellous and spectacular carvings.

Five years in the making, this book contains upwards of 180 stunning photos, along with comprehensive and interesting explanations of various techniques for carving, detailing, and painting. Much of the photography showing the progression of carving and painting is from the documentation of Pat’s many waterfowl decoy projects.
