The photographic material in this CD covers the carving and painting of the Shoveler Drake.  All of the images are edited with added text explaining the procedure shown.  In addition paint mixtures are listed.  This bird is certainly an interesting one to make.  The unique bill is also a challenge to carve and the painting features iridescence, vermiculation, monotone white, and using highlight and shadow to accentuate dimension in the side feathers.
